In Torremolinos, DiverSport Torremolinos represents more than just a sports association: it is a living social network that combines physical activity, leisure and community. Founded with the idea of offering a space where sport is accessible to everyone, regardless of their level or condition, the club has become one of the most active social engines in the municipality. Here, training is not only measured in performance, but in human connections.
With more than a dozen sections, including indoor soccer, paddle tennis, tennis, swimming, beach volleyball, hiking and yoga, the association promotes sports from an inclusive and social perspective. Its members, some 300 people of more than 40 nationalities, find in DiverSport a multicultural environment where it is easy to integrate, participate and feel part of something bigger. Each group trains regularly, but also organizes meetings, trips and recreational activities that go beyond sports, strengthening the bonds between residents and visitors.
The club is also a visible benchmark for diversity in the Andalusian sports scene. Its motto, “Sport never felt so inclusive”, is not just a declaration of principles, but a daily practice. From local tournaments to collaborations with other European LGBTIQ+ clubs, DiverSport Torremolinos shows that sports can be an open, relaxed and fun space where friendships are built beyond the scoreboard.

This establishment has completed the Hospitality Meets Diversity training, developed by Queer Destinations as part of the LGBTI Tourism Spain Experience Guide project, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and financed by Next Generation EU funds under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. A distinction that recognizes its commitment to a more inclusive, responsible and authentic tourism, where LGBTQ+ travelers always feel welcome and respected.
