What is this project about?
The The Spain LGBTI Travel Experiences Guide was created to build, highlight and connect spaces that are committed to equality, diversity and respect. It’s a tool to help discover inclusive destinations and foster a more human, mindful way of traveling.
Spain is more than just a tourist destination—it’s a place to connect and celebrate diversity. A place that recognizes and values the cultural contributions of the LGBTI+ community. Through collaborations with cultural institutions, festivals, artists and associations, this project promotes activities that embrace inclusion, respect and equality. It positions Spain as an open, welcoming country for everyone, regardless of their identity or orientation.

Connection
To become a national leader in the search for inclusive destinations. To connect travelers with places, services and businesses—public and private—that value and celebrate diversity.
Training
To equip tourism professionals with the tools they need to make their spaces safe, inclusive environments through educational programs and best practices certifications.
Awareness
To promote respectful, empathetic, responsible behavior. To encourage a tourism industry that acknowledges the importance of inclusion and is committed to the rights of all individuals.
Connection
